EACC competition nights are held the 4th Tuesday of each month (Sept-April) for both print images and digital images. You can make up a missed month by entering extra images in the next month’s competition. Keep in mind that a good image title can influence a judge’s impression and understanding of an image.
DPI Specifications
Any paid member is allowed to enter 3 monochrome & 3 color digital images for each competition. Files are to be emailed to the Competition by 10pm on the Sunday before competition: dpi@elginareacameraclub.com
Images may not exceed 1920 pixels width & 1080 pixels height or they are disqualified.
Files should be named in the following format: 09_CPI_imagenumber_membername_imagetitle – for example
09_CPI_1_JohnSmith_Cool Image
The image number should be #1 – #3 and #4 – #6 if they are makeup images and images will be shown in this order.
Print Categories
Any paid member can also enter up to 6 printed images per competition night. Mounting boards can be purchased at any club meeting.
*Large monochrome (1 print per person per month)
*Small monochrome (2 prints per person per month)
*Large color (1 print per person per month)
*Small Color (2 prints per person per month)
A small print is any print mounted on and not extending beyond the edges of an 11” x 14” board.
A large print is any print mounted on and not extending beyond the edges of a 16” x 20” board.
Labels with your name, date and the title of your image must be placed in the upper left hand corner on the back of your image. These labels should be filled out prior to the competition. You can download directions and blank labels here – EACC_Back of the Print (Excel File).
